Reuniting Families
Reuniting our residents with their families brings the greatest satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment to the mission of White Doves.
It has been our constant endeavour to find out the family details of our residents and try to locate their families. Most of the times these people are given up for dead or with little hope of returning home.
It is indeed a joyous moment for us when we are able to reach out and reunite the lost to their families.
As on date we have reached back and reunited 421 of our residents with their families.
06 Feb, 2023 Dhananjay of Bihar origin reunited with his family
Dhananjay, 35, who hailed from Rohtas in Bihar was found by White Doves near Nanthoor in the month of July 2022. Dhananjay was rescued and brought to White Doves where he was taken care of.
White Doves manager Jerald managed to trace Dhananjay’s family in Bihar.
On February 5, Dhananjay was reunited with his family after seven months. Dhananjay’s two brothers and brother-in-law reached Mangaluru to take him home.
Dhananjay was the third among five children born to his parents. Dhananjay is married to Pramila Devi and has two children.
It is said that Dhananjay’s family faced issues and that he was not mentally stable after the division of their property that which landed him in Mangaluru seven months ago.
This was the 401st reunion by White Doves.
